During Lil Scrappy's recent stop on the Big Facts Podcast and was asked if a rapper being on reality television is a"death certificate" to that person's career.

Scrappy rose to fame as a rapper in 2003 due to the song "Head Bussa," and he's been on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta since 2012. [Go to the 24-minute mark].

"Yeah, I've seen it happen," said Scrappy about reality TV killing a rapper's career. "Before I even got into it, I was looking at [it], I was like, 'Damn.' But I thought about, I was like, ‘Sh*t, I ain’t even got a rap career right now ... I don’t even give a f*ck'."

Scrappy then said it was hard to go back to music after having success on television and doesn't understand why other rappers who've been on TV start rapping again.

“I be looking at n*ggas like, ‘Why did you come back bruh? ... And what you thought you was finna do?’”
