Lil Uzi Vert Says He Wasn't Nominated for a BET Award Because He's Too Different

The nominees for this year's BET Awards were announced on Monday. Drake leads the pack with six nominations. 

But Lil Uzi Vert wasn't nominated, even though his Eternal Atake album went number one in March.

The Philly artist seemed bothered by the snub and sent a tweet about it.

“Y’all see how they do ya boy,” he wrote. “Its because I don’t follow the Rules of HipHop. Its boring.”
