Back when Carter IV was moving 961K in its first-week streaming was barely a thing.

Seven years later and it's almost everything.

Carter V won't repeat it's predecessors numbers. The early estimates having it doing between 475K and 530K.

But it already is the second most streamed album ever, over its first day

According to Chart Data, Carter V was streamed 49.5 times on Spotify. That trails Drake's Scorpion's 80.5 million, and is just ahead of Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys (47 million), Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD (40 million) and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. (34 million).

Carter V does benefit here from being a 23 track album. If you go by streams per track,  Carter V trails all of the above albums, J. Cole’s KOD  and The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy.
