Lizzo often fights off trolls, whether it's after they criticize her size or her music.

Like in August of this year when many ripped her Cardi B-assisted song "Rumors." Lizzo responded in a video and shed tears over the negative response.

But now she's explaining that "Rumors" is doing well for her, even though it didn't go viral.

Lizzo then explained the difference between a song going viral and doing well on the charts.

"I don’t think ppl know the difference between ‘bad’ music & non-viral music these days," she wrote. "They equate virality w quality & that’s just not true. When I play this song live thousands of ppl scream the words I’m getting plaques for Rumors. Viral does NOT = successful YALL."

Any response to Lizzo's message?
