There's been a good number of people who agreed with Kanye West's scathing message about the music industry.

The GOOD Music founder blasted Sony and Universal earlier this week, saying the company and other labels enslave artists. He then sent another message on Wednesday slamming labels, which got a co-sign from people like NLE Choppa and Logic.

In fact, Logic said that his label Def Jam never paid Lil Wayne for a feature. Def Jam is owned by Universal Music Group.

"90% of the record contracts on the planet are still on a royalty," tweeted Kanye. "A standard record deal is a trap to NEVER have you recoup, and there’s all these hidden costs like the 'distribution fees' many labels put in their contracts to make even more money off our work without even trying."

"I feel you, Def Jam ain’t tryin a pay @LilTunechi his fee so I guess the perfect remix aint coming out.... owe a few of my folks they money honestly," Logic responded while sharing Ye's tweet.

With all of the horror stories that artists tell about labels, why do you think so many of them still want a record deal?
