Drake is suing UMG for defamation, claiming the label artificially promoted Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us," in which he calls Drake a pedophile.
The thing is, Drake has said some pretty nasty things about rappers in battles. Just ask Meek Mill.
No, Drake didn't call him a pedophile or anywhere close, but he did accuse him of being a snitch while dissing him in other ways on his songs "Charged Up" and "Back To Back."
So, Meek was asked about Drake's UMG lawsuit, and he gave a head-scratching answer.
"I WONDER HOW @MeekMill FEEL BOUT DRAKE SUING," tweeted battle rapper Arsonal Da Rebel. "CAUSE N*GGAS SAID THIS N THAT BOUT HIM…… DRAKE WENT ALL OUT ON MEEK."
"Label told me don’t drop nothing," Meek tweeted back. "I went against that and dropped dc4 mixxtape 'Shari Bryant backed me herself' 90k first week to heat up … I couldn’t make any playlist either that had me confused a lil losing confidence but I knew 80% was campaign! Influence for the net only."
Can you decipher his response?
