Meek Mill said there's no such thing as going too hard in a rap battle.

The topic came up when he stopped by The Angie Martinez Show, and they spoke about the Drake, Pusha T battle. 

A lot of folks said Pusha went too far when he dissed Drake's parents and joked about his friend and producer Noah "40" Shebib having multiple sclerosis. Drake cosigned that argument when he visited LeBron James's show The Shop. But Meek said Drake has it all wrong.

"Ain't no such thing as going too hard; I would tell Drake that when I see him," said Meek. "I'm just telling you I come from [a time] where niggas is sayin 'We smoke your mom, Your dad is a rat. Your sister's a hoe. Your grandmama's on crack.' That's how this game came up. This is what it is."

Meek said it's even fair game when people get clowned on the Internet during a rap battle, like he did when he went at Drake in 2015.

"They got memes, all types of shit going on," he said. "I don't know what to do. I'm in the mix, I'm confused now. Ain't no rules, though. You can take any stance you want, you can do it how you want. Just, you know, continue your legacy and be great. We're going to see all at the end — five years from now, 10 years from now — who is going to continue to be great. We're gonna have some shootouts sometimes, you know what I mean? But as long as you make it home, that's all that matters at the end of the night."
