Dave Chappelle's defense of DaBaby from the Alphabet People was the centerpiece of his new Netflix special Closer.
"A lot of the LBTGQ community doesn't know DaBaby's history. He's a wild guy. He once shot a n*gga and killed him. In Walmart," Chappelle revealed. "This is true, google it. DaBaby shot and killed a n*gga in Walmart in North Carolina. Nothing bad happened to his career. Do you see where I'm going with this? In our country, you can shoot and kill a n*gga. But you better not hurt a gay person's feelings."
Dave's fellow comedian Michael Blackson thinks Chappelle did DaBaby no favors when he spoke on his name. In fact, Blackson believes he lowkey snitched on the NC troublemaker.
"Dave Chappelle low key snitched on DaBaby," Blackson typed. "The LGBT did not even know he killed anyone, now they hate him even more lol. LGBT it was self-defense."
