Some celebs got a lot of props for their Halloween costume like Diddy, who dressed up as Heath Ledger's version of the Joker. But others, like Monica, received backlash.
The R&B singer portrayed Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes when the TLC member was photographed for a mugshot after being arrested in 1994. Left Eye was highly upset at her boyfriend at the time, ex-NFL player Andre Rison and set his house on fire.

Left Eye died in 2002 after her vehicle crashed in Honduras, which is partially the reason why people took offense at Monica's costume. But TLC member T-Boz didn't have a problem with it and she sent Monica a message.
