MTV News, which kept 80s and 90s kids up to date on world events during their formative years, is shutting down after 36 years.
The decision to shutter the programming was part of more extensive layoffs at MTV's parent company Paramount.
If you were surprised that MTV News still existed, it might be because it was scaled back considerably in 2017.
Now it's no more.
