Ex-cop Eric Adams will be New York City's next mayor in part because of his tough-on-crime stance.

But he wants everyone to know weed is legal in his city.

In fact, when Adams was on Late Night With Stephen Colbert last night, he brought rolling paper to give to his host.

Then he suggested he'd be giving Colbert some green stuff to put in the paper later.

Adams also said he'll be testing out the NYC nightlife when he is mayor.

"I'm the mayor.  This is a city of nightlife.  I must test the product," Adams said.
