Nicki Minaj's Husband Kenneth Petty Arrested By The Feds On Sex Offender Charges

Nicki Minaj's new husband Kenneth Petty has been arrested for not registering as a sex offender.

Petty, who did a four-year bid for attempted rape when he was a teenager, was pulled over in November in Beverly Hills. During the traffic stop, it was determined he was a registered sex offender in New York state but hadn't informed the authorities in California of his status.

He was arrested and released on a $20,000 bond back then and Los Angeles County charged him for failing to register as a sex offender. 

He must have blown that off because now the Feds have swooped in and hit him with the identical charge.  He's in Federal custody and should face a judge later today.

If convicted on the Federal charge for failure to register he could get up to 10 years.
