Nicki Minaj Speaks on Her Father's Devastating Death

Nicki Minaj's father, 64-year old Robert Maraj, was killed in February in Long Island in a hit-and-run accident while crossing the street.

Charles Polevich, 70, was eventually arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with physical evidence.

Nicki has been silent on the terrible tragedy.  But she opened up a little on it in a new letter to her fans.

"Tho I can’t really bring myself to discuss the passing of my father as yet; I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life," she wrote in the letter. "I find myself wanting to call him all the time. More so now that he’s gone. Life is funny that way. May his soul rest in paradise. He was very loved & will be very missed."
