Lil Wayne's 13th album Funeral is heading for his worst opening in years.  Luckily, Weezy will still do enough to fend off an embarrassing loss to rap pariah Russ.

Hits Daily Double has Funeral doing  110-125k SPS with 10-15k in traditional albums.  That will likely be his lowest opening week since Tha Carter did 116K in 2004. Russ's Shake The Snow Globe is headed for 60-75k, 38-42k.  Both have aggressive bundles.

Wayne should finish number one for the week, but don't completely count out Roddy Ricch. The continued success of his smash hit "The Box" has kept Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social right around 100K the last few weeks, despite having dropped in early December.

HDD doesn't have a projection for the other big rap release of the week, Yo Gotti's Untrapped, suggesting it will do less than 45K.
