Police Say Battle Rapper Pat Stay's Murder Was Targetted

Esteemed Canadian battle rapper Pat Stay was stabbed to death following a night out in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Game, who Stay had dissed shortly before his murder, acknowledged the death without comment.

While police don't know who killed Stay, they believe it wasn't a "random event.

Constable. John Macleod from Halifax Regional Police updated the investigation yesterday.

“At this point, it’s still the very early stages,” he said. “You know, We’re looking into all avenues to determine what it was that occurred that night. We are asking anyone that has information, or might have video, or photographs from the time or anywhere around the incident, to contact police to help us further this investigation.”
