Pop Smoke's 'Shoot For The Stars' Is Dominating Billboard Like No Rap Album In Years

Pop Smoke's posthumous album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon is atop Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for its 11th week.

That passes Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. for the most weeks on top of that chart since 2012.

The only two albums with longer runs on the  R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart -- which has been around since 1965 -- are Drake's Take Care with 12 and Eminem's Recovery with 16.

It's a shame Pop Smoke is not around to enjoy all of that success.  Now we'll see if he gets nominated for a Grammy.
