Whether it's his recent McDonald's diss track or his songs aimed at Drake, Pusha T knows a little something about a battle.

So, when the subject of battling came up on Hot Ones, he gave an interesting take. [Jump to the 11:46 mark]

“It’s really corporate now," said the Virginia Beach rapper. "So, it's like, now, you’ll have a rap beef and a record label gets involved and the CEO is like, ‘Oh, you can’t do this to my artist.’ I don’t think they end careers anymore 'cause people don’t have the same like, pride level about the art ... Back in the day, it was career-ending because it was based around the art. Nowadays, man, people don’t care. They're like, 'Oh, you know, they lost today but whatever. It's no big deal.'"

Would you say the results of a rap battle don't mean much these days, like Pusha says?
