Pusha T highly benefited from The Neptunes since they produced albums for his group the Clipse.
He gave his take on the legal battle between Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, the founders of The Neptunes.
As we reported yesterday, Hugo has accused Pharrell of "fraudulently" trying to be the sole owner of The Neptunes name by excluding him from trademark applications.
But Pusha says their disagreement has to do with a greedy attorney.
"There’s not a dollar involved in this stupidity," he wrote on Instagram. "Just a lawyer looking to drain Chads pocket. Unreal."
According to Pharrell's people, he tried to do the right thing by Chad but couldn't reach him before filing the trademark applications.
"We have reached out on multiple occasions to share in the ownership and administration of the trademark and will continue to make that offer," said his team. "The goal here was to make sure a third party doesn’t get a hold of the trademark and to guarantee Chad and Pharrell share in ownership and administration."
