Now that five suspects have been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing Pop Smoke in February, the family can begin the process of trying to get some closure. But that, of course, is separate from the life-long grieving that's probably ahead of them.

Quavo talked about the late drill rapper in a newly released interview with Complex and said he was a big brother figure to him. He also taught Pop a lot about money management.

Quavo appears on two songs off Pop's posthumous album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, which has done some huge numbers so far.

“As soon as Pop got on, he was ready to fly private and sh*t,” Quavo recalled. “So I let him know he needed to take it one step at a time, because this game will swallow you when you get to splurging. I just told him, ‘Man, you’ve got to take your time.' I went from coach to first class to a jet plane, and it was all through years of growing and money managing. I had to talk to him on some big-brother-type sh*t. They call me Uncle Huncho, so I just try to lead people in the right way.”

But the Migos member says that he regrets not sharing his wisdom on how a famous person should move after renting an Airbnb.

Police say the suspects knew where Pop Smoke's rented home was in the Hollywood Hills after he posted photos of himself and a friend showing money, designer luggage and other possessions on social media.

“I ain’t put him up on game about the Airbnbs and stuff like that,” said Quavo. “I feel like I would have helped him. Nobody’s got a timeline on their schedule, so you can’t even say that, but I just miss my bro. I felt like if I was around, or near the spot, I could have done something. I don’t want nothing to happen to my partners who I’ve been around and who I’ve given advice to. That’s my guy, man. I miss my boy.”

Do you think Pop's death will make rappers move differently when renting a house or traveling out of their home state?
