Last week, Kevin Durant demanded Brooklyn Nets owner  Joe Tsai either fire coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks or trade him.

Tsai has said he won't fire Nash or Marks.

The team also has yet to trade Durant and is apparently asking the moon and stars for the 33-year-old.  (For example, they asked Boston for both Tatum and Brown.)

Durant still has three years left on his four-year $194 million deal with the Nets.

According to NBA insider Mark Stein, if KD isn't traded he may just retire.

Stein said he was skeptical of KD retirement rumors at first because Durant loves to play

However, he's starting to come around to the theory that KD may step away if the Nets don't trade him.  Before it comes to that, he is expected to cause a ruckus behind the scenes to try to force Brooklyn to lower their price.

So not good for the Nets.
