Rick Ross Strikes Huge Plea Deal In Kidnapping Case

Rick Ross just struck a huge plea deal in the 2015 kidnapping case in which he was accused of holding his groundskeeper hostage and pistol-whipping him.

According to TMZ, Rozay pled no contest to one felony count of aggravated assault, and the other felony charges were dismissed. He also had to pay a fine of $10,000. Once paid, the felony count will be permanently removed from his record.

The judge did give Ross five years probation since he pled no contest to several misdemeanors including battery, assault, two counts of aiming a gun at someone and having less than one ounce of marijuana on him. But he'll be able to travel freely during the probation.

Right after receiving the news, Ross spoke outside the courtroom.

"First and foremost. God is great," he said. "I respect and appreciate how the court chose to resolve not only myself but my co-defendant's cases. It is important to both of us that we put this situation behind us for the benefits of my mother, my sister, my family, friends, all my fans and supporters."

When he got home, Ross recorded himself removing the ankle monitor that he's been wearing since first being charged and he couldn't look happier.
