Roddy Ricch Sued For Stealing "The Box"

"The Box" is Roddy Ricch's biggest hit. 

Now it's his biggest problem.

Roddy, the track's producer 30 Roc and Atlantic Records are being sued by soul singer Greg Perry who says the song took elements of his 1975 track “Come on Down (Get Your Head Out of the Clouds)” without his permission.

He says the similar structure, form, and melody of the tracks prove his copyright was infringed and he is entitled to damages.
