Bobby Shmurda famously took extra prison time so his GS9 boys could get less.  Rowdy Rebel, who was just released from prison after serving about six years, explained how it went down.

"Bobby is the realist.  My boys holding up fine," Rowdy told Speedy Mormon [Jump to 22 minutes.]. " He's great.  He's healthy.  How that went down.  His first offer was five years, mine was 12.  Monte's was 10.   Cueno's was 18.  So they wanted us to do a global dissipation, all of us cop-out and sign these papers, and all of you don't have to go trial on Monday."

This was on Friday.  However, Cueno said he couldn't do 18 and they would have to go to trial.  So their lawyers went back to prosecutors, who offered them another deal.

"They were willing to give Cueno 15, instead of 18.  Monte seven instead of the 10.  Me, seven instead of the 12, if Bobby takes seven instead of five.  They really wanted Bobby and this was the perfect way to get him ...  He took that sh*t.  He didn't hesitate."

But Cueno still didn't cop out because 15 was too much.  Nevertheless, the prosecutors agreed to take Cueno to trial separately and still hook up Monte and Rowdy if Bobby took the seven.

"There was never a doubt," Rowdy said about Bobby taking the extra time.

It turned out Cueno made a horrible decision not taking the plea.  He was convicted and ended up getting sentenced to 117 to 130 years for attempted murder in the second degree, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted assault in the first degree, and criminal use of a firearm in the first degree.

Shmurda should get out next December.
