Royce Da 5'9" and Joell Ortiz had a virtual chat for HipHopDX, where Royce compared Slaughterhouse to Griselda.

Slaughterhouse, which consisted of Royce, Joell, Joe Budden and KXNG Crooked, was signed to Eminem's Shady Records, as is Griselda. But the quartet eventually parted ways, while Griselda's Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher continue to thrive.

Both Royce and Joell said they don't harbor any jealous feelings about Griselda's success, despite things not totally panning out for Slaughterhouse.

“I could never feel a way about Griselda, I just love them dudes too much,” Royce said. “And two, they didn’t necessarily get more mainstream attention than we did. We actually released an album. You know what I’m saying? It just was two different totally different journeys for me. But I do understand the comparisons, though.”

Would you compare Slaughterhouse and Griselda in any way?
