Russ is known for speaking his mind as much as he's known for making music, and he's made a lot of enemies with his opinions. So it may not be surprising that he recently spoke about his rap peers.
During an interview on The Rap Pack podcast, around the 10-minute mark, Russ and the hosts called Drake, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar the big 3 of hip-hop. But they said an inevitable shift is coming, in terms of the next wave of big rappers.
“Well, I’ll tell you the inevitable: The pioneer in the shift is Travis Scott,” said Russ. “Because if time isn’t taken, Travis Scott will outsell one of the big three because the fanbase is that huge."
