Safaree Samuels has been trying to step up his own music career, and the shake the label of "Nicki Minaj's Ex."
But SB ran into some problems while trying to shoot a video in Brooklyn. As you can see in two clips that were originally posted on Instagram, some locals decided to revoke Samuels' hood pass.
"You're out of pocket," a group of men tells Samuels, who eventually retreats to his car when a man with a covered face emerges. The group follow Samuels and his fancy fur coat to his vehicle, berating him for not "showing love in the hood."
We have to say Samuels handled the situation about as well as anybody can when being outnumbered like that. But something tells us that wasn't why Meek Mill, Minaj's current friend with benefits, liked one of the videos on Instagram:
