Sean Kingston and his mother Janice Turner might be spending a lot of years behind bars.
They were convicted on Friday in the Feds' wire fraud case against them. The mother and son are accused of swindling a luxury bed company, a jeweler, an exotic car dealership, and a company that sells high-end TVS.
The trial, which took place in South Florida, lasted five days, and the jury made its decision in 3 1/2 hours. Kingston and his mother were found guilty on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.
Kingston was released on bond until his sentencing, but his mother was taken into custody right away.
He broke his silence about the verdict over the weekend.
"Lately they’ve been trying to break me on the daily," wrote Kingston on Instagram Stories.
Each count holds a possible 20-year sentence for mother and son. They'll be sentenced on July 11.
