We are about to enter into the fourth week of the government shutdown, the longest in US history.

At issue is a wall which will encompass the whole border between the U.S. and Mexico. President Trump wants it and the Democrats think it's silly.

Cardi B weighed in on the situation yesterday.

"I just wanna remind you that it's been a little bit over three weeks," she says in video. "Trump is now ordering ... federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid. ... This is serious. Our country is in a hellhole right now. All for a ... wall.

"I feel like we need to take some action," she continues. "I don't know what type of action ... because this is not what I do. But ... I'm scared."

Cardi's strong words got the attention of Democratic Senators Chris Murphy and Brian Schatz, who debated whether they should retweet her rant. Eventually, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer jumped in.

They probably shouldn't. Unless they want their constituents to learn more about "pussy wedgies."
