Shotti Of Tr3way Explains Why Everyone Is Wrong To Criticize Kanye For Trump Meeting

The general consensus is that Kanye made a damn fool of himself when he ranted like a homeless person for almost 20 minutes during a meeting yesterday with President Trump.

But Shotti of Tr3way has a different point of view. The man who brought us Tekashi 6ix9ine was impressed that 'Ye asked Trump to pardon Larry Hoover, the Gangster Disciple boss who's been locked up since the 70s.

"I just want to say, Kanye West is not crazy. He sat in front of the President of the United States and said 'Free Larry Hoover.' Ya'll NIggas is pussy," Shotti said. "Kanye West said free Larry Hoover to Donald Trump and ya'll niggas is mad at him. And ya'll niggas is coming at that nigga. Ya'll niggas is stupid. Every celebrity that's coming at Kanye West is stupid. He might be a little off on some shit. But free Larry Hoover."

Hoover's been locked up since 1973 when he was convicted of ordering the murder of a 19-year-old accused of stealing drug money. While he was in prison, Hoover united many of the Chicago gangs and was able to run the drug trade in Chicago and through much of the Midwest from jail. 

In 1995, after a 17-year undercover investigation by the Feds, Hoover was indicted for drug conspiracy, extortion, and continuing to engage in a criminal enterprise. He was given six life sentences.

Before he was rearrested, Hoover had denounced violence and the Disciples had begun to do charity events in Chicago. Kanye referred to that when he spoke to Trump yesterday.

"And really, the reason why they imprisoned [Larry Hoover] is because he started doing positive for the community. He started showing that he actually had power, that he wasn't just one of a monolithic voice, but he could wrap people around," Kanye said.

There's a zero percent chance Trump, or any President, would ever pardon Hoover. (Well, we guess a President Kanye would.)
