Snoop Dogg Criticized For Shooting Donald Trump In Video

Snoop Dogg recently dropped a video for the song "Lavender," where he shoots a Donald Trump character in the head.  There's a playful element to the clip; Trump is dressed as a clown and Snoop uses a toy gun. But some are saying a line was crossed.

One of those people was Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who said the rapper made a big mistake.

"Snoop shouldn't have done that," he told TMZ. "You know, we've had presidents assassinated before in this country, so anything like that is really something that you should be very careful about. I think people can disagree on policy. We've got to be very careful with that kind of thing, because the wrong person sees that and gets the wrong idea, you can have a real problem, so you know, I'm not sure what Snoop was thinking."

Rap vets Ice-T and Naughty by Nature's Treach weighed in on the video as well, and they said it's just art. You can listen to their comments below.
