During Snoop Dogg's Breakfast Club interview earlier this week, we learned that he ghostwrote for Warren G.
According to Snoop, he and Kurupt helped Warren with his first album on Def Jam as a way of protecting him from Death Row boss Suge Knight.
"We was trying to protect the homie from Suge Knight at the time, Suge was taking everything so we wanted to make sure Warren G had a dope record without him being able to get it, so we silently, me and Kurupt and a few others, went to work for Warren G to make sure that his record could be what it was."
Snoop Dogg and G certainly went back. It was the "Regulate" rapper who introduced Snoop to his step-brother Dr. Dre.
The rest is history.
