Snoop Dogg used to be a huge Donald Trump critic, and he even pretended to shoot him in a music video.
But the Long Beach rapper has changed his tune on Trump, probably because he pardoned Death Row Records co-founder and former drug dealer, Michael "Harry-O" Harris, before leaving office in 2021.
On Friday, January 17, Snoop, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy performed at the Crypto Ball to celebrate Trump being inaugurated today.
All three rappers faced backlash for their Trump support, but Snoop got it the worst since he spent a lot of time in the past criticizing Trump supporters. Here are just some of the reactions:
Who would have guessed that Snoop Dogg would end up being one of the “Uncle Tom ass n*ggers” he himself railed against not long ago? What a fucking sellout. pic.twitter.com/UD7N8IZvan

Watching Rick Ross, Soulja Boy, Nelly, and Snoop dogg all perform at Trump’s inaugural event adds an extreme amount of validation to what Malcolm X said about some black celebrities being puppets.

Snoop seemed to respond to the backlash by posting a song called "Unfollowed U" by a group called The Middle Fingers.
Would you call Snoop a hypocrite?
