Earlier this month, T.I. said that if 50 Cent wasn't from New York he'd be Nelly.

He continued his argument that New York gets too much shine during an interview with Ebro and Peter Rosenberg, in which he likened being a part of the New York Hip Hop scene to having white privilege.

"In the universe of Hip Hop, New Yorkers have the same thing that white people have with white privilege," Tip said with Rosenberg agreeing and Ebro objecting.  "New York the origin of Hip Hop, can't never deny it. You got all the money, you got all the radio stations. Largest market in the world.  All of the television stations. BET started out in DC, where'd they have to go. New York. MTV, TRL overlooks Time Square ..."

Ebro then said that New York has always embraced Southern rappers like T.I. and Outkast.

"You know how you sound," T.I. shot back. "When white people tell black people, 'we treat you alright. Police don't go after you like that.'

Ebro continued to push back, telling Tip he was on some B.S.

What do you think?
