Tay-K was facing 5 to 99 years for the murder and robbery Ethan Walker.
The 19-year old just got 55 for the murder. In addition, he received a 30-year prison sentence for one count of aggravated robbery and two 13-year sentences on two other counts of aggravated robbery. He had already pleaded guilty to the two counts. The sentences will be served concurrently.
Tay will face another trial for the murder/robbery of photographer Mark Anthony Saldivar. In that incident, prosecutors say Tay-K was the one who pulled the trigger. In the case he was just sentenced, he went along for the robbery but didn't pull the trigger. Latharian Merritt, who did, was already sentenced to life.
