Young Dolph was a hero in Memphis.
But not to all of Memphis.
Earlier this week, a mural of Dolph -- who was shot and killed in his hometown last November -- was defaced.

The mural had been commissioned by Dolphin's family and was supposed to be completed next week. July 27 would have been Dolph's 37th birthday.
Defacing memorials to dead rappers is, unfortunately, a country-wide problem. The late Nipsey Hussle and the late Prodigy have also gotten similar treatment.
