Like much of the country, Atlanta is in the midst of a crime surge.

Things are getting so crazy in the ATL that they've gone medieval and have started doing drivebys with crossbows.

According to police at about 10:30 Saturday night a gold minivan pulled up to a Northwest Atlanta Pic N Pay and someone in the vehicle stepped out, whipped out a crossbow, and fired a single arrow, striking the unnamed victim in the chest.  Then the van drove off and somebody called 911 on the victim's behalf

The victim kept it 100 and refused to provide any information about his attack to the police, who don't yet have a suspect. The victim was hospitalized with a chest laceration and is listed in stable condition.  He is expected to survive.  And he'll have quite a story to tell.
