Soulja Boy wanted TMZ boss Harvey Levin to promote his Soulja Star shoes.
So he presented a pair to Levin.
Levin's response was not helpful to Soulja's cause.
"Do you what would happen if I wore these? They would tear me apart in here," Levin said when presented with the green kicks
"You gotta put them in the closet at least, collector's items," Soulja reasoned.
"I've stopped putting sh*t in closet a long time ago," the openly gay Levin said.
The shoes, which are made in Italy and come with a "collectors edition" box retail for $279
