Trey Songz explained why he didn't sign Drake when he had the opportunity.

The two worked together early on their careers, most notably on the cut "Successful," off Drake's So Far Gone release, but Trey didn't believe he could really help the rapper.

"Drake wanted to sign to me and all that," he said on Big Boy's Neighborhood. "And I couldn't do what needed to be done for him ... Drake doesn't look like he looks now. He's cool as hell. His confidence is on heavy. He wasn't that guy. He was a little nervous. He was a little kind of timid."

Meanwhile, Trey has been dropping a lot of music in the month of November. He just released two new albums for his birthday, one called 11, the other 28.  Before that, he dropped the cut "JILL (SUMN REAL)" which was inspired by a video of Scott simulating oral sex on a microphone. He also put out the song "Shootin Shots" with Tory Lanez and Ty Dolla $ign.

What do you think about Trey not signing Drake when he had the chance to?
