Trippie Redd gave his top five rapper list during an interview with XXL, and it's Drake, Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. 

The Ohio native also took time to explain why he feels that Vert and Carti were so influential to his generation of rappers, while also calling them G.O.A.T.s.

"Listening to Uzi’s sh*t back in 2015-16, that sh*t was different and Carti at that time. They was on some other sh*t for the young n*ggas," said Trippie, who mocked Soulja Boy not too long ago after the "Crank That" rapper bragged about all he's done in rap.

"They did some crazy sh*t for us," Trippie continued, speaking about Vert and Carti. "They really opened doors for us to do a lot of sh*t that we do. You know, the n*ggas from the SoundCloud era might not say it too much but definitely, they some of the G.O.A.T.s from our era."
