Wale is going to follow up the Seinfeld themed The Album About Nothing with a LP that features the sound of his hometown.
The MMG rapper revealed during the Essence Festival that he is working on a Go-Go album. For those not familiar with the DC-originated genre, it combines Hip Hop, funk and R&B. To add authenticity, Wale is going to use area Go-Go musicians on the project. Guest features will include Chris Brown and Tinashe.
There's no release date or time projection for the album. Fans can expect the fourth installment of the MMG Self Made, which Wale is executive producing, first. Watch the press conference below.
