Chris Brown's birthday fell on Cinco de Mayo, as it does every year.

This year, for his 32nd, Brown threw a massive party in his San Fernando Valley home.

400 to 500 people showed up and partied all night.  By 2 AM his neighbors had had enough and they called the police to complain about the noise.

The LAPD showed up in full force -- including an even more noisy chopper --and put an end to the party.  The police say all the backup was needed given the history of problems at Brown's home.

Nobody was arrested, but the cops issued lots and lots of parking tickets.
