Yesterday, an Indiana State Police SWAT raided a trap house occupied by alleged cocaine dealer Eric Butler.
The 33-year-old had the misfortune of selling crack to a confidential informant earlier in the week -- and one who paid with specially marked bills.
When the police came in, Butler tried to flee through an attic window. The cops grabbed him before he got far and arrested him on a level 2 felony charge for dealing cocaine.
In addition, they seized $95 of the marked money, a gold necklace with the inscription "Must Obey Bosses Forever," 55 grams of crack cocaine, 29 grams of powder cocaine, 12 grams of fentanyl, and a semi-automatic pistol with ammunition.
Crime almost always doesn't pay.
