Further proof that Monica is willing to throw hands came over the weekend when she saw a man hitting a woman at Detroit's Riverfront Music Festival.

“No, don’t you hit her like that," said the singer. "Listen, listen, listen, if y’all don’t get that n*gga up out of here. We [not] even supposed to play like that. You ain’t no n*gga like that. Is you out [of] your f*cking mind? You don’t hit no f*cking lady like that."
She then jumped off the stage and went after the guy.
