YBN Almighty Jay addressed his attack in a new interview.

The rapper was jumped and robbed of his jewelry in New York earlier this month and got his face slashed by the theives.  (J. Prince eventually got his chain back with the help of French Montana and others)

"After the incident happened, I was laughing at it," Almighty Jay told Genius. "I'm slacking, they got me good ... I knew it was my fault. I didn't have no security. I was trippin.'"

He also said it was his idea to do a video to the song "Let Me Breathe."

"I'm like f-ck it. This how I get paid," explained the rapper. "It's my career. I'm about to drop a song with the stitches in my face. Everybody wanna see them."

What advice would you give Almighty Jay the next time he travels to the five boroughs?
