When Juice WRLD died of a suspected drug overdose earlier this month, he was thought to be facing lawsuits from both Sting and Yellowcard for using their material in his biggest hit, "Lucid Dreams".

After Juice's death, Sting -- who is already credited as a songwriter on "Lucid Dreams" and has been getting royalties-- claims he never tried to sue Juice for using the guitar riff from his 1993 song "Shape Of My Heart".

However, Yellowcard, who believe Juice stole the melody from their 2006 track "Holly Wood Died" and used it in "Lucid Dreams" just filed a motion to extend the amount of time Juice Wrld's estate, producers  Taz Taylor, Nick Mira, and Juice's labels Grade A Productions and Interscope Records have to respond to the complaint the band filed against them.

The defendants now have until February 4, 2020. Previously, the deadline was December 9, the day after Juice died.

Check out both tracks below.
