YNW Melly Juror's Breakdown Of Votes Very Different Than Melly's Mother

YNW Melly's first double murder trial ended in a mistrial when the jurors couldn't come to a unanimous decision.

Melly's mother claimed the jury had voted 9-3 to acquit.

It turns out that wasn't true.

One of the jurors told Local 1o news that a single "disruptive" juror was determined to acquit Melly.

“She was there to cause chaos,” the former juror said.

The juror added that the woman -- who had a previous bad experience with the legal system --was out of control, yelling insults, including gay slurs, at anyone who disagreed with her.

The juror explained that they initially had an 11-1 vote to convict Melly of manslaughter with a deadly weapon.

However, the rogue juror browbeat two people to switch sides, leading to a mistrial.

Melly will be tried again for killing his crewmates Sakchaser and Juvy in October.

The bad news for Melly is he will likely be convicted.  The good news is the jury was considering the manslaughter charge rather than murder.

Manslaughter with a deadly weapon sounds like around 20 years, whereas murder could get him the death penalty.
