In March of last year, Dolph was involved in a shootout in Charlotte, NC where over one hundred shots were fired at his SUV. 

Thanks to his bulletproof car, he escaped certain death and ultimately released the project "Bulletproof" inspired by this situation.

Dolph was attacked once again in September. This time he was shot multiple times, but, fortunately, he pulled through just fine.
