Young Guru, Jay-Z's longtime engineer, responded to Timbaland saying that he would be working with an artificial intelligence software to produce for rappers who are either dead or alive.

Timbo said this on the heels of creating a track for The Notorious B.I.G. using AI.

“It’s going to really be a new way of creating and a new way of generating money with less costs,” he told Forbes in a new interview. “I’m already here. This is what I’m doing. I’m going to lead the way.”

Guru let his thoughts be known about the move on social media.

"@Timbaland I love you my brother," he wrote. "You know I do. But this ain’t it!!! This is dangerous and at a basic level it’s corny!! I will be on the side of the luddites.”

Is Timbaland making the wrong move by working with an AI software?
