Young Thug is a lightning rod. Especially for rappers of a certain age.

Trick Daddy was on The Breakfast Club this week, and during the discussion he made a couple comments about our Thugger.

In his first, he seemed to be complimenting the Slime Season emcee, saying his look influenced other rappers.

But then he made clear that was no compliment: "I just don't see a dude calling himself a 'thug,' or calling himself a killer, when, if he pulls his pants up, you can see his shape," said Trick.

It took Thug a few days, but he did social media respond:

He also continued to insist The Breakfast Club is the devil.

We believe he's referring to this tense 2013 interview Gucci did with the Breakfast Club.
