2 Chainz had a pretty good 2017. Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, his first solo album in four years, did decent business and he became a mainstream style icon through his sweater designs.
But there were also some misses. Chainz was notoriously removed from Eminem's Revival album at the last moment. And now we've learned that a similar thing happened to him with the Quavo-Travis Scott joint album Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho.
Chainz revealed that he recorded an unused verse for the album cut "Modern Slavery" after Swizz Beatz posted an IG video in which he's vibing out to the Chainz-less track.
"Dat shit hard !! I did a verse to that. A lot of people ain't been using my verses lately", Tity Boi commented on Swizz's page.
Maybe 2 Chainz will have better luck with his verses in 2018.
